Our Story

Originally started in 1921 & became affiliated with the PAOC in 1923. Started in a home and then moved into a church in the town of Walkerton. That church burnt down in the early 80’s, and land was purchased outside of town where the new church was built. Some of the members from the church in town still attend today. A pastor at the time during the 60’s would use a dance hall for revival and healing services. This attracted a lot of people from the community and surrounding area. In the earlier years, if you didn’t show up to service at least 15 mins prior to service time, you likely were not able to find a seat. Prior to the church burning, Walkerton was the only community that had a church at each corner of the local jail.
