Our Story
In January 1978 the Western Ontario District invited Rev. Tom and Eileen Richardson to come to Richmond Hill and establish a Pentecostal Church. On Sunday September 10, 1978 the Richardsons rented the old Langstaff Baptist Church in Thornhill and began holding services with a handful of people. After the church was sold the congregation moved to Langstaff Public School. Midweek services were held in the Pastor’s home in Thornhill while Bible Studies were held in the basement for youth. On July 20 1980 Pastor Richardson conducted a sod turning ceremony on 65 Baif Boulevard. The first service was held Sunday July 5, 1981. The official dedication was March 7, 1982.
