Our Story

Heartland: A Church Connected has a rich history rooted in the Mississauga community. Planted as Central Pentecostal Church over 35 years ago by Pastor Kelvin with his wife Mary Lynn Honsinger in a school cafeteria, the church has grown and flourished, eventually evolving into Heartland: A Church Connected in its permanent home at 1100 Canadian Place. Our history reflects a legacy of faith, perseverance, and service, as we continue to build upon the foundation laid by our predecessors.

We believe that our building serves as a gift from God to carry out acts of kindness in Jesus’ name, to spread the message of God’s love to others, and to witness how this love can profoundly transform lives. Our primary goal is to share with others the message that Jesus loves them and that God has a purpose for their lives.
