Our Story

GateWay was founded in the Fall of 1998 by Reverend Mike Gordon as the first Pentecostal church in town. Pastor Mike led the church for 10 years.
Dave Tunikaitis was the next pastor for 7 years and Michelle Mercer led the church for the next 7 years until her move this spring. This year we celebrated 25 years!

Ministries

We are very active in the community.
Bike’s for Farmworkers is a grass roots ministry under the umbrella of GateWay. The program takes bikes and makes sure they are road worthy and then these bikes are used by the migrant workers who call NOTL home for 6-10 months of the year.

Niagara Migrant Workers is a program to work with, minister and help our migrant workers while they are away from home. When workers first get here in the spring we join with another program in the area and help make welcome bags for the farm workers. We also provide prayer support and
visitation. We help CWOP with their summer worship services and the annual cricket game.

We offer Sunday kid’s church for the children in our community.

Small groups

Small Groups/bible studies (online)

We join in community events like the Virgil Stampede to serve food, or hand out cookies at the town Christmas tree lighting.
