Our Story

Our church is located at 35 Silverwood Drive, Huntsville, Ontario.
The present building was constructed in 1980 and was named Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle.

Bethel Church has had several renovations over the years, but most recently underwent a complete lower level renovation with upgrades to the kitchen as well as developing a large open area to accommodate the various Ministries for the young children, teenage youth and Seniors Young at Heart Ministry.

The church is also home to EarlyON, which for several years began their program in the Sanctuary. Now, with the recent lower level renovations, they have a brighter and more spacious area to accommodate the children’s needs. EarlyON operates Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. Our board welcomed this opportunity, not only to have this public exposure showing that we are a loving church, but it also generates additional income for the church and our Ministries.

Our church has also been involved in what we call First Responder Appreciation Day. This is a fun filled day for not only children whose parents are Police, Fire and Paramedics, but for the general public as well. All are invited to participate in various games and activities. We even had bouncy castles for the children and a free BBQ for all to show their support and appreciation. Several of the Emergency vehicles from the various services are on display for the public to view. As well, our Worship Team members enjoyed providing live music.

Bethel has also sponsored a Special Appreciation event for our local hospital workers that included Doctors, Nurses, Maintenance workers, Cleaning staff etc. at our local Beaver Tails
Restaurant to show community support. This event was such a success, that we also sponsored an event the following year to show support to all the Migrant Workers employed by the various nurseries, farms etc. in our community. Several of our Worship Team were there to provide live music. Bethel has a heart for our Community.
