Dorothy Pang: All Nations, Tribes & Tongues – God is Bringing the World to Canada

Long before time began, God envisioned a redeemed humanity—a kaleidoscope of colours and cultures reflecting His glory. Today, that vision is on our doorstep: Canada’s neighbourhoods, schools, and churches are filled with the nations God has brought to us.  How can the Canadian Church, rooted in the Gospel and empowered by the Spirit, create communities where every culture belongs and the beauty of reconciliation in Christ is unmistakable? Intercultural competency isn’t optional or reserved for specialists—it’s part of following Jesus. This interactive Learning Lab will introduce the markers of an intercultural mindset and outline a practical path toward becoming leaders who embody God’s heart for all nations.

Rachel is a Kindergarten teacher and leads the Children’s Ministry at their church, passionate about shaping young hearts both in the classroom and in the Kingdom. Together, their heart is to serve God, strengthen families, and live out His call with joy.

His heartbeat is for Jesus, his beautiful wife Melanie (Central’s Worship Director), and their two boys, Eli and River. He also loves traveling the world—and enjoys, perhaps a little too much, a just shy of frozen Coke Zero. Rumour has it Justin is an Enneagram 3, always chasing possibility, and he holds a firm belief: there is no limit to what God can do in and through you.

JAMIE NELSON

Jamie married his high school sweetheart, Michelle, in 2005, and together they are raising four amazing kids: Jacob, Hayley, Isaiah, and Asher.
