The Western Ontario District is excited to announce our 2023 Ministers Gathering. Our hope is that our time together can create an even stronger sense of family across the ministers in our district. We believe that when we worship, learn, care, challenge, forgive…  together, we will win our communities for Jesus. We will be hosting these events at the beautiful Village Conference Centre at Blue Mountain in Blue Mountains ON, from October 2–4, 2023. We hope to see you there.

Our Guests

Gary & Marilyn Skinner

Gary & Marilyn Skinner are the visionary and passionate Team Leaders of Watoto Church, which they founded in 1984 in the heart of Uganda’s war-torn capital, Kampala.

Dr. Christopher Yuan

Dr. Yuan is a highly sought-after expert whose book, Holy Sexuality and the Gospel, was named 2020 book of the year for social issues by Outreach Magazine. Christopher will be joined by his mother, Angela, as they minister together testifying to the transformative power of the gospel.

Dorothy Pang

Dorothy brings 25 years of experience in law, business, and executive leadership to the TIM Centre team. She is passionate about creating collaborative environments where diverse teams can thrive and organizational health is optimized. She is a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (ID) and certified facilitator of the Intercultural Conflict Styles (ICS) assessment. She is currently working towards her certification in Intercultural Studies. Dorothy is a dynamic facilitator and public speaker.

Ben & Emma Narayanan

Pastors Ben and Emma Narayanan are the Lead Pastors of Avant Life Church. As leaders both Ps Ben and Ps Emma are passionate about sharing the message of Christ through boldness, innovation and creativity.After hearing the clear call from God they moved to North Vancouver Canada with their three amazing children Levi, Alice and Eden from Canberra Australia to pioneer Avant Life Church.Their hearts for people, leadership development and community engagement has helped establish Avant Life Church as a thriving, relevant and transformational Christ centred community

Jason Small

Before working with the district, Jason was the Lead Pastor at Community Church, Waterdown, a church that he and his wife Carla planted in 2004. Jason loves the church in all its styles and forms and loves to see people live out God’s best for their lives. Jason has a passion to lead through serving and through encouraging and empowering others to become leaders. He loves it when people are willing to try new approaches to sharing the truth of the love of Jesus.

Jason and Carla live in Barrie, Ontario. Their two adult children, Grace and Caleb, are both attending university. When kicking back, Jason likes to ride motorcycles, play hockey, and downhill ski.

Joshua Ali

Joshua Ali has been leading worship around the world for the past 18 years. Joshua has spent the most of his ministry in Trinidad & Tobago, the United States, and Canada. Joshua had the honour of leading worship in areas like Jerusalem, the United Kingdom, South America, Central America, and other Caribbean Islands. While visiting these locations, he was invited to speak at conferences, concerts, and revivals as a guest minister. Joshua is now married to his wife, Ashley Ali, and they now have a newborn baby boy. Joshua Ali, who currently lives in Canada, is a worship pastor who enjoys leading God’s people in worship.

Janelle has been a full time Kids Pastor for 10 years, first in Brampton and now in Petrolia. She and her husband Bobby have two amazing kids that make us so very proud! They will be joining them and their awesome team as we care for your sweet littles in October. She can’t wait to meet you and those precious ones 🙂

Ashley Hickton

Ashley is the Children’s Pastor at Lakemount Worship Centre and has a heart to see children connect to the life changing presence of Jesus Christ! Ashley and her husband Tim, along with their four children reside in the Niagara Region.

Jr. High (Ages 11-13)

John-Mark and Natalie Giancola

John-Mark and Natalie have been Student Ministry Pastors for just over 9 years in the Eastern Ontario District. They have a passion for serving in the local church. They love seeing students chase after God and watching them reach their full potential.
